Zayd Patel is the Founder and Managing Partner of Power Technology, a firm that helps private equity–backed industrial platforms modernize systems, reduce operational risk, and build the technology foundations required for scalable growth.

Prior to founding Power Technology, Zayd served as CIO of a high-growth industrial manufacturing platform, where he built the company’s enterprise technology foundation and helped enable its rapid scale into a mission-critical infrastructure provider that ultimately achieved a public market outcome.

Zayd specializes in portfolio-wide technology strategy, enterprise architecture, and operational value creation through modernization. Earlier in his career, he led engineering and consulting organizations at Deloitte, Salesforce, and Slack.

Zayd holds an MBA from Cornell University and teaches Solution Engineering as an Adjunct Professor at the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.

Josh advises portfolio companies on technology strategy, modernization investments, and cybersecurity posture. He specializes in aligning digital initiatives with operating and financial targets, drawing on deep experience modeling the business value of cloud and platform investments.

Prior to joining Power Technology, Josh led business value consulting teams at Palo Alto Networks and Red Hat. He began his career supporting large-scale enterprise transformation initiatives at Deloitte.

Josh holds an MBA from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT) and a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Maryland.

Mo leads operational intelligence, data architecture, and enterprise systems at Power Technology. He specializes in connecting operational technology and enterprise systems across manufacturing and supply chain environments, enabling real-time visibility, analytics, and AI-driven optimization.

He played a central role in the transformation of a high-growth industrial manufacturing platform that ultimately achieved a public market outcome, designing MES/MRP integrations and industrial data pipelines that unified production, operations, and enterprise workflows.

Mo has published extensively on AI-enabled optimization for industrial systems. He holds a Ph.D. in Industrial Engineering from Virginia Tech and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Mechanical and Reliability Engineering at the University of Maryland. He also holds M.S. degrees in Manufacturing Systems Engineering, Quality Engineering, and Data Science from Virginia Tech.

Ryan Steffen leads initiatives that help businesses improve financial performance through emerging technology, operational improvement, and business transformation. He specializes in M&A due diligence, enterprise systems modernization, digital product development, and value creation initiatives that drive growth and improve operational performance. 

Prior to joining Power Technology, Ryan served as Head of Product for a startup and spent more than a decade leading M&A diligence, integration, separation, and operating improvement initiatives across the technology and manufacturing sectors. 

Ryan holds an MBA from New York University's Stern School of Business, B.S. degrees in Accounting and Information Systems from the University of Maryland, and serves on the board of Northfield Precision Instruments Corp.

Harsha specializes in full-stack engineering, distributed systems, and AI-driven platform development, building scalable systems and high-performance integrations across enterprise and industrial environments.

Harsha holds an M.S. in Computer Science & Software Engineering from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County (UMBC), where he focused on artificial intelligence and distributed systems.

Danish holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Washington & Lee University, graduating Magna Cum Laude and Phi Beta Kappa.
